The end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012 saw a number of important Monster High Doll releases by Mattel. From the early Sweet 1600, Skull Shores Series to the new character Nefera de Nile, all are in high demand at stores that people are turning to online stores for buying them. Among the new monster high dolls for 2012, 3 dolls have broken the record for the highest craze and I thought it would be useful if I review the three of them.
Monster High Operetta Doll Review
Children always love new Monster High characters better than different styles of the existing characters. In that way, I understand why Monster High Operetta Doll is selling hot. It is new, differently styled and pretty!
Who is Operetta?
Operetta is the daughter of Eric, the phantom of Opera.
How the doll looks
The doll’s hair color is a creative choice- Blood red and retro styled. Actually most parts of her dress are retro themed, her tight Capri, the puff in her white coat and even her single long dice dangle earrings. On the whole she looks like a “Spider Girl” ! There are spider webs on her dress, guitar and even in her belt. The tatoo on her left hand looks perfect for her costume. Operetta’s skin color is soft lavender, while she has more of purple- the color of Phantoms in her dress.
Operetta’s likes
She has a flair for music and sings better than every student in Monster High. She also likes to be independent. She does only what she likes, unmindful of whom it affects or benefits.
Her dislikes
She hates when someone orders her what she should do. She dislikes imperfection.

Monster High Sweet 1600 C. A. Cupid Doll Review
If you are looking for a good doll for Valentine’s Day Gift, then it should definitely be Monster High Cupid Doll. She is by far one of the Cutie Pies of Monster High.
Who is C.A. Cupid?
C.A. Cupid is the daughter of The Cupid- The God of Love. While her dad was wasting time aiming arrows at those in love, the daughter seems to be helping those in Monster High to solve their relationship problems through her radio show.
What I feel about this doll
Of course she will make a best Valentine’s Day Gift. She is new, popular and above all, she is very pretty. Her hair is all set and so you don’t have to worry about it becoming a mess. Her hair is braided to form a love symbol crown which is unique for this doll. Of all, I liked her dress very much. They are stiff and don’t require maintenance. She can impress people beyond age. I have a friend who is 28 and loves to keep the doll on her night table. She is very rare to find. I could neither find this doll at my local stores, nor could I resist having this doll. So I decided to buy her for $45. But now, the prices have come down.
